The way a guy proposes to his girl is the one thing she remembers for the rest of her life. But these days, relationships have become so fast forward that the entire course of relationship is finished within a week or month. From hook up to romance to breakup takes less time than a 16 year old boy take to learn driving a vehicle. But still there are some stories that are meant to end for a lifetime. Sometimes you find a person that is just perfect for you and you just know that you’ll never be bored or sick of him/her. If such person arrives in your life, and you decide to spend the rest of your life with her, you should make some efforts to make the proposal memorable. A proposal that she can never imagine. A proposal that she’ll remember for the rest of her life. So if you’re ready to make her jump out of her shoes, then we are ready to present you with a super creative proposal idea that would make a wonderful memory for you and your better half.
Things Required :
1. A trusted friend that your girlfriend has never met.
2. A fake gun that looks real(you can get it from a toy shop)
3. A lonely place where nobody goes(can also be some friend’s empty house)
Step 1: Build Up
First step is to build up the idea that you are going to propose her. Start dropping hints before 2 weeks that a special day is near and you can propose her at any day in near future. I know you want to surprise her and dropping hints would give away the surprise but believe me when you are finished listening to the whole idea, she’s going to get a surprise far better.
Step 2 : The day before the proposal
The day before the proposal, ask her out saying that it’s a special occasion and we are going to a very fancy place to dine tomorrow. When she asks, refuse to tell her and insist that it’s a secret and will tell her on the same day so that she gets a slight hint that you might propose tomorrow.
Step 3 : Proposal Day
I am writing this as a play so that you can get the feel of it :
Mike drives to Jessica’s home to pick her up for the big day. She’s really excited and wearing her best dress in thoughts of getting proposed.
Mike : Let’s go dear, we don’t want to be late tonight. It’s a special day.
Jess : Sure honey, give me a minute !
(Both Mike and Jess get into the car and leaves for the special place. Mike drives through a route which is quite lonely)
Jess : This route is quite lonely. Where are we going ?
Mike : It’s a new restaurant. Just opened this last week. I have been there once, the ambience is perfect and food is awesome.
Jess : okay !
(Suddenly a guy in a jacket appears who calls for lift and comes in front of car so that Mike has to Stop)
Strange Guy : Hi ! I am really sorry to come in front of the car but I have an emergency. My wife met with an accident and she’s in hospital right now, I need to be there as soon as possible.
Mike : Okay, come in ! We’ll drop you in the way.
Guy : Thanks ! My name is Ross.
(After 2 min, Ross sitting in the back seat pulls out a gun and point at Mike’s head)
Ross : Hey Buddy ! Drive as I say or I’ll blow your head off ! and ask your women not to shout a bit. If she does, you’re dead !
Mike : Hey… take whatever you want.. Take all our money but let us go, please !!
Ross : Keep driving, before I shoot you. This is going to be fun(Laughs like a psychopath).
(Jess is really scared but Mike asks her not to shout in any condition)
(Ross tells Mike to drive at an empty apartment. He puts the gun in the jacket but aims at Mike while he was walking inside the apartment along with Jess )
(After getting into the apartment, Ross locks the door)
Ross : Both of you take out all the money, watch and jewellery that you have and put them onto table.
(Mike and Jess take out everything and puts on table)
Mike : Now you have everything.. please let us go now.
Ross : Sorry can’t do that ! I am a different kind of guy. I don’t know how many people I have killed because I leave this to chance every time.
Mike : What do you mean, please let us go. We have given you everything. Take the car if you want.
Ross : shh… I don’t like people to make noises. If any of you scream, I’ll shoot you both in head, so listen carefully.
(Ross acting like a psychopath)
Ross : This is what I do. I put one bullet in each person I rob and let the destiny decide if they’ll remain alive or not. So here’s what I gonna do.. I’ll shoot you both once but in a body part that you’ll be alive for some time before you die. You can shout for help after I leave. If you are lucky enough, you will be saved. But if you shout before that, I’ll shoot you in head and make sure you are both dead before I leave. This is why I don’t know how many people I have killed.
Mike & Jess : Please let us go. Please don’t do this !!
(Jess trembling with fear but Mike asks her not to shout)
Ross : But I give one last wish to everyone I shoot, so go ahead..(still laughing like a psychopath) tell me your one last wish, both of you.
Mike : Wait.. if I got one last wish I want to propose my girl.
Ross : Ok go ahead ! You have 2 minutes.
Mike (pulls out a ring and goes down on his knees) : Jess, I don’t know if we’ll have any life to spend together but I want you to know that I love you and even if I die tonight I’ll have no regrets. I’ll go happily holding your hand. But if we live, would you like to spend your rest of your life with me?
Jess : Yes !! (Cries and kisses Mike)
At the same time, Ross takes out a camera and start taking pictures.
Jess : What is happening (starting to realise it was a prank)
Mike : Surprise !! Ross is not a psycho killer, he’s my friend and it was a setup to give you a memory that you’ll never forget!!
(End of the play)
So, now when you get the feel of the proposal, you can plan for it accordingly.
Some things to keep in mind :
1) Make sure the guy playing the role of psycho killer is a trusted friend that your girlfriend has never met.
2) Keep telling your girlfriend not to shout in any condition as it’ll create a scene.
3) Don’t forget to take the picture of your girlfriend at the exact moment when she realises that it was a prank, focussing the lens on her face.
4) Perform this on your own risk.
5) Have fun and share it with your friends.
